World of War Craft Starter Edition - Play Online for Free

World of Warcraft before you buy this awesome PC game, why don't you try it first in their online promo. Yes! Blizzard Entertainment created a starter edition to try this game online if you are satisfied with the game then you can upgrade or buy the CD online.

All you need to do is go to battle.net, create an account then down download the executable file (.exe). Install it to your computer and you're ready to go play online.

World of Warcraft Starter Edition - Online Free Game Limitations


The World of Warcraft Starter Edition allows players to access World of Warcraft for free – all you need is a Battle.net account and a broadband Internet connection.

Note: Each Battle.net account is limited to one World of Warcraft Starter Edition at a time.

Players on Starter Edition game licenses have the following restrictions:


  • Characters cannot exceed level 20, 10 gold, and 100 trade skill ranks.
  • Characters cannot participate in Pet Battles.
  • Chat communication is limited to say and party.
  • Cannot send whispers unless the Starter Edition character is on the recipient’s friends list or the Starter Edition character is replying to a whisper.
  • Cannot trade, create or join guilds, invite players into a party, create calendar invites, or disable experience gains.
  • Cannot use the mailbox or the Auction House.
  • Voice chat and Real ID features are disabled.
  • If there are login queues, the system will prioritize players who have full licenses.
  • Starter Edition licenses are not eligible for value added services (character transfers, faction changes, etc.).
